Dr boris ilg, md
Dr. Ilg has been practicing in Anderson for 21 years as a general ophthalmologist and has performed thousands of procedures. He performs small incision cataract surgery with advanced technology implants and manages general eye health in adults and children. He performs exams for glasses as well as dry eyes, diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other ocular illnesses.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University in 1992 and his Doctorate in Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, in 1996. His internship and residency were completed at the Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2000. He is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Fraternity.
Dr. Ilg is fluent in English and German. Aside from patient care, his other interests include travel, antiques, fishing, and gardening.
DR NITA SAINI, OD
Dr. Saini, our optometrist, joined our team in March 2021. Having practiced in the North for 20 years, she is excited to call South Carolina home. She conducts general eye health examinations for adults and children for eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as dry eyes, diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.
Dr. Saini makes it a priority to take the time to address all ocular health concerns. She has expertise in multifocal contact lenses and unique eyeglass prescriptions.
She completed her undergraduate degree at Queens University in 1993 in Canada and completed her Doctorate in Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in 1997 in Boston.
Terri wilson, optician
Terri has been an integral part of the Anderson Ophthalmology team for 22 years. She enjoys designing patients’ eyewear and developing long-term relationships with her patients, using the latest eyeglass frame styles and lens designs to fulfill their visual needs.
